LEGO® USB Tower Driver Update Instructions for Windows XP

  • Click here to download the LEGO® MindStorms SDK (tower164.zip).
  • Unzip LEGOMindStormsSDK.zip onto a directory on your hard drive
  • Unplug the LEGO® Tower from the PC
  • Double click on the file called "LEGO MindStorms SDK.exe"
  • After the installation has finished, plug in the Tower and start the RCX PicoBlocks software

LEGO® Serial Port Tower Instructions for Windows XP

  • Click here to download the config file (config.zip)
  • Unzip config.zip onto a directory on your hard drive to get the file name "config.txt"
  • Locate the RCX PicoBlocks folder
  • Drag the config.txt file into the RCX PicoBlocks folder
  • Plug in the Tower and start the RCX PicoBlocks software
