In 2016, the Playful Invention create an iPad app for the LightPlay project. LightPlay explores the concept Computational Tinkering is a playful approach to supporting making and tinkering with digital and physical materials. The MIT Media Lab (Lifelong Kindergarten Group), Reggio Emilia, The Tinkering Studio at the Exploratorium, and the LEGO Foundation are exploring new materials, tools, spaces, activities, and facilitation approaches that will support young tinkerers.
